Hunt died at a local hospital after being shot late Saturday night in the 700 block of Harry S Truman Drive.

Officers from the Prince George’s County Police Department were called to the scene around 9 p.m. on Nov. 16.

Upon arrival, they found Hunt outside, suffering from a gunshot wound. First responders provided treatment at the scene before rushing him to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Detectives say they have spoken with several individuals involved in the incident as they work to piece together what led to the deadly shooting.

Investigators are also consulting with the Prince George’s County State’s Attorney’s Office, though no charges had been filed as of Monday, Nov. 18.

“This remains an active and ongoing investigation,” police said in a statement.
